It's a sucky new "feature", that samples public posts, remixes them and reposts them as spam in the LJ. You can't see the script result unless you post, and you have different settings for remixing, so people post several times to play. Also it gives apparently an error despite posting, so people think they haven't posted and post again and again, thus you get crap even more often.
